| dc.description.abstract | Postpartum hemorrhage is the leading cause of all deaths due to obstetric hemorrhage.
Complications of postpartum hemorrhage are hemorrhagic shock (hypovolemic) and death can
occur due to sudden bleeding and excessive bleeding. The purpose of this study was to carry out
nursing care for clients with problems with the risk of hypovolemic shock in postpartum
hemorrhage in the puerperium ward of Anwar Medika Krian Sidoarjo General Hospital. The
research method using a case study design approach to nursing care includes assessment, nursing
diagnoses, planning, implementation, evaluation using one client with nursing problems at risk
of hypovolemic shock, the place of research is in the puerperium ward of Anwar Medika Krian
Sidoarjo General Hospital. Collecting data using interview techniques, observation, physical
examination and documentation. The results of the study after nursing care was carried out for
3x24 hours it was found that the client at the time of reviewing the basic data found subjective
data and objective data that showed the client was at risk of hypovolemic shock. The plan of care
is in accordance with what is implemented in nursing care. All interventions can be implemented
on the first day, but on the second day stop the intervention in the form of recommendations such
as reporting if there are signs of bleeding, getting plenty of rest, limiting activity, sleeping on
your back and about the impact of low platelets. Clients are advised to re-control and consume
