dc.description.abstractLack of public knowledge about hypertension will affect efforts to overcome and prevent complications so that complications do not occur. The design of this research is a case study. Participants in this study consisted of 2 families with one family member experiencing hypertension and lack of knowledge in Krikilan Village, Driyorejo District, Gresik Regency. Implementations carried out include researchers providing health education in the form of teaching proper diet, teaching prescribed treatment programs, teaching appropriate physical/sports exercises, increasing family involvement. The results of the evaluation given during 3 visits in 1 week the problem was resolved was obtained with the results of the client and family expressing understanding and being able to reiterate what was explained. Good cooperation between clients and health workers helps to run optimal nursing care.en_US
