dc.description.abstractAppendicitis is inflammation due to infection of the appendix or appendix. Treatment for appendicitis can be done by surgery, namely appendectomy, which is a surgical removal of the appendix. One of the factors that influence the postoperative wound healing process is early mobilization. Mobilization is a major factor in accelerating recovery and preventing postoperative complications. The purpose of this case study is to describe nursing care for impaired physical mobility in post-op appendectomy patients at Anwar Medika Hospital, Sidoarjo. The design of this research is a case study, with respondents, namely 2 post appendectomy surgery clients who have impaired physical mobility. Data collection methods used on both clients are interviews, observation and documentation, using the nursing care format. The results of the assessment obtained from postoperative appendectomy patients, nursing problems that arise are impaired physical mobility. The intervention was carried out for 3 days of treatment. The evaluation results obtained are physical mobility disorders can be overcome. In post-operative appendectomy patients with impaired physical mobility problems, they should practice frequently so as to reduce the risk due to prolonged bed rest such as blood circulation disorders, pressure sores and muscle stiffness.en_US
