    Abstract
Hyperthermia is a condition when an individual experiences or is at risk of experiencing an increase in body temperature of 37.8°C (100°F) orally or 38.8°C (101°F) per rectal which is persistent due to external factors. Most of the causes of fever occur due to changes in the hypothalamic setting point due to the presence of pyrogens such as bacteria or viruses that can increase body temperature. One of the causes is salmonella thypii which causes typhus abdominalis. The purpose of this nursing care is to be able to apply nursing care to clients who experience hyperthermia in the case of thypus abdominalis at the Jabon Public Health Center, Sidoarjo Regency. The design of this research is a case study. The participants in this case study were Mrs. A and Mr. F. The data collection techniques included interviews, observations, physical examinations, and documentation studies. The results of comprehensive nursing care for 3x24 hours on clients. In the assessment of basic data, subjective data and objective data were found which indicated that both clients had hyperthermia. The plan of care is in accordance with what is implemented in nursing care. There is a difference between client 1 and client 2 where client 2's body temperature is higher than client 1, this is known from the laboratory results of client 1 showing salmonella score 5 for client 2 the laboratory results show salmonella score 6 higher so that the infection is more severe than client 1. Nurses are advised to improve the quality of care, monitor and evaluate the results of care and apply care according to SOP and improve the quality of care. Patients with typhus abdominalis are expected to always maintain a clean environment to prevent repeated infections.
