PENGARUH MODEL PEMBELAJARAN MEANINGFULL LEARNING TERHADAP KETERAMPILAN DALAM BASIC LIFE SUPPORT SISWA DI SMK BIM PPMU MOJOSARI MOJOKERTO
Abstract
Daily emergency always existed and happened it need help as soon as possible to avoid
death and disability. Therefore skill of basic life support is very important ordinary people,
especially for teenagers who have activities outside the home. The process of delivering
information to adolescents or students who can be support skills can was found that most
respondents before being given the use meaningfull learning model. The aim of this study is to
prove the influence of meaningfull learning model to students skill of student’s basic life
support at vocational school of BIM PPMU Mojosari Mojokerto. The design of this research
used pre experimental design with one group pre testpost test design. The populations of this
research is all of students class XI at vocational school BIM PPMU Mojosari Mojokerto. The
sampling technique used was total sampling so that 33 students were used. The instrument of
this study is observation notes. Based on the results of data analysis using crosstabulation, it
meaningfull learning of skill basic life support model, 27 respondents (81,8%) had a less skilled
skill level. After being given a meaningfull learning model of basic skills, 30 respondents
(90.9%) have a skilled skill as respondents.This research shows that there is an effect of the
meaningfull learning model on the skill of basic life support for students at vocational school
of BIM PPMU Mojosari Mojokerto. The increase in skills is caused by respondents who
receive a given stimulus through a meaningfull learning model. Students are expected to
improve skills in basic life support so that they can be applied to real conditions. Real
conditions can share skills and experiences with peers or around to foster empathy and help
each other.
