PENGARUH MOBILISASI RANGE OF MOTION PASIF TERHADAP WAKTU PULIH SADAR PASIEN GENERAL ANESTESI DI RUANG RECOVERY RSUD BANGIL
Abstract
Recovering from general anesthesia is a risk factor for case mortality and morbidity in any surgery. One of the major post-anesthesia complications is delayed recovery. The research design used is the _Posttest Only non-equivalent Control Group Design. The independent variable is passive Range Of Motion (ROM) mobilization and the dependent variable is the patient's recovery time. The population of this study were all patients who underwent general anesthesia at Bangil Hospital and the samples used were 10 respondents in the control group and 10 respondents in the intervention group using purposive sampling technique. Based on the results of the study, it was found that there was an effect of passive Range Of Motion mobilization on the recovery time of patients with general anesthesia in the recovery room of Bangil Hospital. Based on the results of the chi square test using the SPSS application, the results obtained are p value of 0.002 (p < 0.05). Passive range of motion of the extremities can assist in expelling secretions in the respiratory tract and facilitate peripheral circulation to support optimal respiratory function, as well as improve body metabolism and vital organs physiology that affect recovery, there by accelerating the recovery time of the patient's consciousness with general anesthesia.
