| dc.description.abstract | The root of the problem of falling incidents comes from the non-optimal planning of standard operating procedures (SOPs) for patients at risk of falling in an institution. Nurse compliance in implementing the SOP can be one of the risk factors for falling incidents. This study aimed to determine the relationship between nurses' motivation and compliance with the implementation of the fall risk assessment SOP in the Covid Room. This research design used correlation analytic with cross sectional approach. The population in this study were all 153 nurses who served in the Covid Room of Bangil Hospital, Pasuruan Regency. The sampling technique of this study was simple random sampling. The sample in this study was as many as 61 people. The research instrument used a questionnaire. Data analysis used Spearman Rho test. The results suggested that almost all respondents had strong work motivation, as many as 52 people (85.2%), and who had moderate motivation as many as 9 people (14.8%). Almost all respondents obeyed the implementation of the SOP for fall risk assessment, as many as 54 people (88.5%), and who did not obey as many as 7 people (11.5%). Analysis of Spearman Rho test showed that p-value = 0.000 with a correlation coefficient of 0.865 meant that there was a strong relationship between work motivation and compliance with the implementation of fall risk assessment SOPs at Bangil Hospital, Pasuruan. This was because the higher the work motivation of nurses, the nurses will like their work more and do their jobs better. Motivation was one of the important things for nurses in doing work where the stronger the motivation of nurses, the performance will increase and the more obedient in carrying out their performance according to the SOP. | en_US |
