HUBUNGAN SIKAP DENGAN UPAYA PENCEGAHAN PENULARAN COVID - 19 PADA KELUARGA PASIEN RAWAT INAP DI RSUD BANGIL KABUPATEN PASURUAN
Abstract
In the midst of the outbreak of the corona disease in Indonesia, the government made efforts to prevent Covid-19 with the simplest 3M health protocol discipline, such as wearing masks, maintaining distance, and washing hands, especially when doing activities outside the home. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between attitudes and efforts to prevent the transmission of Covid-19 in the families of inpatients at the Bangil Hospital, Pasuruan Regency. This research uses analytic method with cross-sectional study approach correlation design. The study population was all families of inpatients in the jasmine room at Bangil Hospital. The sample is 50 respondents. The sampling technique was consecutive sampling. The research instrument used a questionnaire. Data analysis using Spearman Rank test correlation. The results of this study show that out of 16 respondents had a negative attitude, 12 (75%) had less effort to prevent Covid-19 transmission. Meanwhile, 34 respondents had a positive attitude, 25 (74%) with efforts to prevent the transmission of Covid-9 in the Good category. The Spearmen Rank test results obtained a p-value of 0.000 < alpha 0.05 and a Correlation Coefficient value of 0.724 which means H0 is rejected, meaning that there is a relationship between attitudes and efforts to prevent Covid-19 transmission in the families of inpatients at Bangil Hospital, Pasuruan Regency. The attitude is very important, the more positive the respondent's attitude is, the better the respondent's efforts to prevent Covid-19 transmission will be.
