    Abstract
    Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) is an infectious disease caused by Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome Coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2). One of the aspects that has received the greatest impact from this pandemic is the health sector. Group health workers who are very vulnerable to being infected with COVID-19 because they are at the forefront of handling cases, therefore they must be provided with complete PPE according to the protocol from the World Health Organization (WHO). Compliance in wearing and removing personal protective equipment is very important for a nurse. Personal protective equipment (PPE) that must be used when working according to work hazards and risks to maintain the safety of the workers themselves and those around them. The purpose of this study was to determine the level of nurse compliance in the use and release of PPE according to hospital SOPs during the pandemic in the isolation room of R.A Basoeni Hospital, Mojokerto Regency. The research method used Description. Population All nurses in the Isolation Room of RSUD RA Basoeni, Mojokerto Regency, amounted to 46 nurses. The sampling technique used in this research is total sampling. The sample in this study amounted to 46 people. The instrument in this study was a questionnaire. The results showed that most of the respondents were obedient in the use and removal of PPE according to hospital SOPs during the pandemic, as many as 33 respondents (71.1%) and 13 respondents (28.3%) non-compliant. In the opinion of the researcher, the nurse's compliance in the use and removal of PPE according to the SOP as a whole is included in the obedient category. Compliance is influenced by several factors including age, gender, education and work experience. Knowledge determines each individual so that it will affect behavior. Compliance with the use and removal of PPE according to SOPs can prevent the spread of Corona Virus Disease (COVID-19). Therefore, it is expected that nurses can improve compliance in the use and release of PPE according to the SOP.
