Abstract
Corona virus is a new type of virus that has shocked the world community. This virus
problem has managed to infect millions of people globally (Nishiura, 2020). The increase in
the corona virus can be caused by people who seem to underestimate or consider this
outbreak as an ordinary and harmless virus. There are even some people who think that
Covid-19 is only dangerous for those who are old. So far, the attitude shown by the
Indonesian people towards Covid-19 cannot be separated from the level of understanding of
each individual. According to (Yanti, 2020), there is a lack of awareness from the community
itself regarding the importance of education that applies 3M and the public's lack of
compliance with the appeal from the government about the dangers of Covid-19. This study
aims to determine the application of 3M during the Covid-19 pandemic in the community in
Balongmasin Village, Pungging Krisik Hamlet RT.01 RW.10, Kec. Pungging Kab.
Mojokerto. This research design uses quantitative descriptive. The population used by the

RW.010, Pungging District, Mojokerto Regency, amounting to 130 people, so that 80
respondents returned a sample using a non-probability sampling technique with the type of
purposive sampling. Data were collected by means of a questionnaire, processed by editing,
coding, scoring, tabulating. The results showed that almost half of the people in the village of
Balonganmasin, Dusun Pungging Krisik Rt 01/Rw 10 did not comply with the 3M
implementation as many as 55 respondents (68.8%). The application of 3M during the
pandemic in the village community of the village of Balungmasin, Dusun Pungging Krisik
did not comply with the application of 3M due to the relatively lack of knowledge of the
community. In addition, the application is also influenced by the attitude and motivation of
the community. The implications of this research are expected for health workers to be able
to provide education about the importance of implementing 3M
