dc.description.abstract | Physical activity and nursing are inseparable. Nurses are tasked with
meeting the basic needs of patients, nurses do many things related to physical
activity such as helping move patients, lifting, pushing, changing patient
positions and providing nursing care. The research design in this study uses a
comparative descriptive study. The population in this study were all polyclinic
nurses (45) and inpatient nurses (110) at Anwar Medika Sidoarjo Hospital,
totaling 155. The sample used in this study was 61 respondents. Research results.
The research results obtained Asymp value. Sig (2-tailed) of 0.001 <0.05, which
means there is a difference between inpatient and outpatient physical activity.
Nurses have high work demands, especially nurses who work in inpatient
installations. This is because in the Inpatient Installation all nursing care is
carried out 24 hours a day for 7 days, thus increasing the responsibility of the
nurse to carry out nursing care compared to the nurse on duty in the outpatient
