HUBUNGAN STATUS GIZI DENGAN PERKEMBANGAN MOTORIK KASAR PADA ANAK USIA PRASEKOLAH DI KB-TK YAA BUNAYYA PACING KECAMATAN BANGSAL KABUPATEN MOJOKERTO
Abstract
Causes that can affect the child's motor development are nutritional status, genetic factors, disease
and physical activity. Factors that affect nutritional status include direct causes of malnutrition,
lack of nutrition, infection and indirect causes, namely economic factors, inadequate parenting
patterns and environmental factors. The purpose of this study was to prove the relationship
between nutritional status and gross motor development in preschool children at KB-TK Yaa
Bunayya Pacing, Bangsal District, Mojokerto Regency. The research design is correlation analytic,
with a cross sectional approach. The population is all preschool age children, totaling 88 children.
The research sample was taken using Non Probability Sampling Type Purposive Sampling and
that met the inclusion and exclusion requirements as many as 62 children. Based on the Spearman
Rho Correlation test, the results show the p value (0.000) < (0.05), so H0 is rejected with the
conclusion that there is a relationship between children's nutritional status and gross motor
development in preschool age children in KB-TK Yaa Bunayya Pacing, Bangsal District,
Mojokerto. The community, especially mothers who have toddlers, if they can regulate the
provision of food with appropriate consumption patterns according to the needs of the child, the
nutritional status of the child will be better and the child's growth and development will also be
optimal. Because the better the nutritional status of children, the better their gross motor
development.
