The chain of transmission of covid 19 can be prevented by closing the respiratory tract using a mask. However, the problem experienced in society today was the lack of community compliance in using masks to break the chain of transmission of the Covid-19, So that it becomes a serious threat to people around the world. The research design was used descriptive analytic with a Cross Sectional Study approach. The population was 74 Covid-19 patients who were undergoing treatment in the Dahlia Room, Bangil Hospital. and obtained a sample of 50 people taken using consecutive sampling. The research data was then carried out with a chi-square statistical test using the SPSS application. Based on the results of the study, it was found that there was a relationship between the level of patient compliance in wearing masks with the incidence of covid-19 in the Dahlia Room, Bangil Hospital. The results of the analysis using chi square show the p value is 8.321, so that H1 was accepted, it means that there was a relationship between the level of patient compliance in the use of masks with the incidence of covid-19 in the Dahlia room of Bangil Hospital. The level of individual compliance with using masks has an effect on preventive measures to prevent the transmission of Covid 19. The lack of community compliance with the use of masks in activities can increase the transmission of Covid 19, because masks can dispel the splashes of saliva that come out when talking, exhaling, or coughing and sneezing so as to reduce the spread of the Covid 19 virusen_US
