HUBUNGAN PERAN EDUKATOR PERAWAT DALAM DISCHARGE PLANNING DENGAN KEPATUHAN PASIEN HIPERTENSI UNTUK KONTROL DI RSUD BANGIL
Abstract
Nurses need to carry out the role of educators to determine the quality of health services. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between the role of the nurse educator in discharge planning and patient compliance for control at Bangil Hospital. The method in this research is correlations analytic, the design used is cross-sectional with a consecutive sampling technique. Sampel in the research is 40 respondents. The variables studied were the relationship between the role of the nurse educator in discharge planning and patient compliance for control. The results showed that based on the characteristics of the respondents based on the role of the nurse educator in discharge planning, all respondents considered it very good. Characteristics of respondents based on compliance more than half of the respondents did not comply. The results of statistical tests with Spearman Rank on the role of the nurse educator in discharge planning with patient compliance for control showed the results of the data Asymp. Sig = 0.762> 0.05. The conclusion is that H0 is accepted and Ha is rejected, which means that there is no relationship between the role of nurse educators in discharge planning and patient compliance for control at Bangil Hospital and negative correlation trait. Families should continue to provide support to patients by always reminding and motivating patients to control according to the specified schedule and taking the time to take patients for treatment when patients need help.
