dc.description.abstractThe response time of less than 5 minutes aims to achieve the outcome indicator, namely survival. Emergency patients require immediate action, namely fast, precise, careful to prevent death and disability. The research design used was correlational analytic with a cross sectional approach. The population is all nurses in the emergency room at R.A Basoeni Hospital. The sampling technique used is a total sampling of 15 nurses. The research instrument was a questionnaire for Nurssalam's workload, working period and education of nurses, observation sheets and a stopwatch for response time. The results obtained were light workloads with a time of ≤ 2 minutes as many as 100% of respondents, medium workloads with a time of 2 minutes as many as 63.2% of respondents and heavy workloads with a time of 3 minutes as many as 60% of respondents. Working period of 5 years has 2 minutes with 50% of respondents, working period of 6 - 10 years has 2 minutes with 25% of respondents and working period of 10 years with 2 minutes with 66.2% of respondents. 57.1% of respondents with D3 Nursing education have 2 minutes and 50% of respondents with Nursing education have 3 minutes. There is no relationship between workload, years of service and education on response time. All nurses have received training so that there is no influence of workload, working period and education on response time.en_US
