HUBUNGAN STRES KERJA DENGAN STRATEGI COPING PERAWAT DALAM MEMBERIKAN PELAYANAN KEPERAWATAN DI RUANG ISOLASI COVID-19 DI UPT PUSKESMAS JATIREJO MOJOKERTO
Abstract
The high incidence of work stress in nurses is also seen in Indonesia, work stress is
closely related to the ability to achieve and achieve maximum results at work, while a person's
ability to solve problems has different coping strategies to reduce stress levels or pressure at work,
this ability trigger a good state in the mind so as to make a person more able to control and be able
to think positively. This study aims to determine the relationship between work stress and coping
strategies for nurses in providing nursing services in the Covid-19 isolation room at Jatirejo Health
Center Mojokerto. In this study, the design used was Correlation Analytical design with a Cross
Sectional approach, the population of all room nurses in the Covid-19 Isolation Room, as many as
15 respondents were taken by total sampling technique, the sample in this study were nurses in the
Covid-19 isolation room. The independent variable is Coping Strategy, the Dependent variable is
Job Stress. The data was taken using the Job Stress Questionnaire and Coping Strategies and then
processed by editing, coding, scoring, tabulating. Analysis of data using Crosstab or cross-test with
the help of SPSS results of the analysis that the level of work stress of nurses is mostly in the
moderate category (66.7%), while the coping strategies used are almost the same between those
who use Problem Focused Coping coping strategies as much as (53, 3%) and those using the
Emotional Focused Coping coping strategy (46.7%). In the subject of low work stress, it was found
using a problem focused coping coping strategy and there was also a high work stress condition
using an emotional focused coping strategy. This shows that there is a relationship between the
two variables.
