dc.description.abstract | The operative process in fractures can affect the patient's physiological and psychological conditions. The preoperative phase can have an impact on the patient's condition during surgery. The research method used is the experimental method with the One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The population was all patients with femoral fractures undergoing treatment at Bangil General Hospital using a purposive sampling technique with 17 respondents using the consecutive sampling technique so that a sample of 12 respondents was obtained. The results of the study using the Wilcoxon analysis test obtained values showed that the Sig (2-tailed) asymp value was 0, 002 < 0.05, which means that there is an influence of health education about surgical procedures on the level of anxiety in preoperative femoral fracture patients at the General Hospital. Bangil. In the preoperative stage, it will have a psychological impact on patients in the form of anxiety disorders. Preoperative anxiety arises because there was a feeling of fear or excessive worry when going through a femoral fracture surgical procedure. Provision of pre-fracture health education can be carried out in order to increase patient knowledge regarding the disease process and the patient understands the fracture surgical procedure that will be given to him, thereby causing the patient's anxiety level to decrease. | en_US |
