dc.description.abstractThe COVID-19 pandemic affects the psychological health of nurses. Nurse burnout has become one of the major problems in all health systems and is increasing day by day under the influence of different stresses in life and especially in the workplace. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between work stress and burnout in nurses in the Covid-19 room at Bangil Hospital. The method in this research is correlation analytic, the design used is cross-sectional with purposive sampling technique. The variables studied were work stress and burnout of nurses in the Covid-19 room at Bangil Hospital. Based on the results and research that has been done above, it is found that of the 40 respondents more than half of the respondents experienced moderate work stress. Meanwhile, more than half of the 40 respondents also experienced moderate burnout. Based on the results of the Spearman Rank Test, this study shows the coefficient value = 0.235 with a significance value of 0.145 0.05, which means that there is no relationship between work stress and burnout for nurses in the Covid-19 room at Bangil Hospital. Therefore, the use of rest time as much as possible for appropriate physical exercise for nurses, especially when doing work with a high workload.en_US
