dc.description.abstract | Control of Corona virus disease was exacerbated by the presence of comorbid hypertension which can increase morbidity and mortality in Covid-19 patients. Individuals with comorbid hypertension infected with SARS CoV 2 may experience more severe clinical manifestations. Meanwhile, hypertension was the most common cardiovascular disease in Indonesian society, so that it was increasingly becoming a problem in the era of the covid 19 pandemic. The research method uses correlation analysis with a Cross Sectional approach. The population is 70 COVID-19 patients who were undergoing treatment at the Bangil Hospital and a sample of 30 people using consecutive sampling. The independent variable is Comorbid Hypertension and the dependent variable is the level of symptoms of covid 19. Data was taken using a hypertension questionnaire and a Covid symptom level questionnaire. After the research data was collected, the spearmen test was then carried out using the SPSS application. In the SPSS test results, the Correlation Coefficient is 0.695, Sig (2 tailed) is .000 and N is 30 respondents. Based on the results of the data analysis above, it can be concluded that there is a significant relationship between comorbid hypertension and the level of symptoms of Covid 19 patients in the Covid 19 Treatment Room at Bangil Hospital. Comorbid hypertension has a significant relationship with the signs and symptoms of covid-19. This was because inhibition of ACE2 in hypertensive patients can exacerbate the signs and symptoms of covid-19. | en_US |
