Stigma is an attribute that discredits a person as a human being who is "not the same as completely" with normal humans and usually leads to negative things. This study aims to determine the relationship between stigma and public attitudes towards the spread of Covid-19. This research design uses a correlational cross sectional approach which aims to determine the strength and direction of the relationship between the two variables. The population in this study were all heads of families in Pucanganom Village RT 05, RT 15, RT 16, RT 30, RT 51 as many as 178 families. This sample was taken using the Cluster Random Sampling technique so that 64 respondents met the inclusion criteria. Based on the results of the analysis of the spearman rho test, which is indicated by the value of value (0.000) < (0.05), it means that the direction of the relationship between the two variables is positive, the more negative the stigma held by the respondent, the more negative the attitude that appears among the community. The level of closeness of the relationship is quite indicated by the correlation coefficient value of 0.466. It is hoped that the public will be able to choose the information obtained related to Covid-19 to avoid hoaxes, so that it does not cause a high negative stigma in the community which has an impact on the emergence of negative attitudes in society.en_US
