dc.description.abstractParenting is the attitude of parents in interacting with their children. This attitude includes the way parents provide rules, give attention. Parenting as a parental treatment in order to meet the needs of providing protection, and educating children in their daily lives. The purpose of this study was to determine Parenting Patterns for Pre-School Children. The research design used a descriptive cross-sectional approach. The population in this study were all parents with preschool age children in Kedanyang Village, Kebomas District, Gresik Regency with a total of 40 respondents and the number of samples taken was the entire population (40 respondents) using Total Sampling, the research instrument using a questionnaire. The results of the study most of the respondents used democratic parenting as many as 38 respondents (95%), a small proportion of respondents used authoritarian parenting 2 respondents (5%), almost half of respondents used permissive parenting as many as 0 respondents (0%). This means that parents prefer to use democratic parenting in educating preschool-aged children. This parenting style makes children more obedient. to parents.en_US
