PENGARUH PEMBERIAN AIR REBUSAN DAUN SIRSAK TERHADAP KADAR ASAM URAT PADA PENDERITA ASAM URAT DI RT.01/RW.02 DUSUN KENDALSARI, DESA PLOSOSARI, KEC.PURI, KAB.MOJOKERTO
Abstract
Gout is a disease that appears suddenly, repeatedly and is followed by very
painful arthritis as a result of the accumulation of monosodium urate crystals
Soursop leaf decoction contains flavonoids which function as antioxidants and
anti-inflammatory. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of
giving boiled water soursop leaves on uric acid levels in gout sufferers in
RT.01/RW.02 hamlet kendalsari village plososari mojokerto district. The
design of this study was pre experimental. The population in this study were
all patients with gout in RT.01/RW.02 hamlet kendalsari village plososari
mojokerto district the amount of 20. The sampling technique of this research
is total sampling. The sampel in this study is the entire population in
RT.01/RW.02 hamlet kendalsari village plososari mojokerto district the
amount of 20.The results of statistical tests found there was a decrease in urid
acid levels before and after namely for before 20 (100%) respondents had high
urid acid levels and after 10 (50%) respondents had high urid acid levels and
10 (50%) other respondents had normal urid acid levels. Statistical test using
the wilcoxon signed rank test showed a p-value of (0,002) <a (0,05) so that H0
was rejected which indicates that there is a significant effect of giving soursop
leaf boiled water on urid acid levels in gout sufferers. One that causes urid
acid levels to remain high is because they are too excessive in consuming
foods high in purines.
