Post-stroke care is the most difficult and longest treatment. This will put pressure on the family as caregivers because stroke patients are unable to take care of themselves. This makes caregivers often experience stress, in this case it is very necessary for family resilience as caregivers. This study aimed to determine the relationship between resilience and family stress levels as a caregiver for stroke patients who experience hemiplegia. This research design used correlation analytic with cross sectional approach. The population in this study was all families of stroke patients who experienced hemiplegia at Prof. Hospital. Dr. Soekandar Mojosari, Mojokerto Regency on June 1-15 July 2021 a total of 22 people. The sampling technique of this research was consecutive sampling. The sample in this study was 20 people. The research instrument used the Walsh Family Resilience Questionnaire and the Kingston Caregiver Stress Scale. Data analysis used Spearman Rho test. The results suggested that almost all respondents had moderate resilience, as many as 17 people (85%), and most of the respondents experienced moderate stress, as many as 15 people (75%). The results of the Spearman Rho test suggested that p-value = 0.000 so that there was a relationship between resilience and family stress levels as caregivers for stroke patients who experience hemiplegia, the higher the resilience, the lower the stress level. This is because the families support and strengthen each other not only in words but in actions. Assistance from other families in caring for stroke patients, both physical and financial, will further strengthen family resilience so that the perceived burden is not heavy and the pressure experienced is also lower.en_US
