| dc.description.abstract | Surgery is a potential or actual threat to a person's integrity that can evoke psychological and physiological stress reactions.Anxiety can cause the patient to be unable to concentrate and understand events during treatment and surgical procedures, in addition it can interfere with the healing process or recovery after surgery.Dhikr therapy is one of the factors that can affect the level of anxiety.The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of dhikr on anxiety in preoperative patients at Bangil Hospital, Pasuruan. The population is 127 respondents with consecutive sampling technique obtained a sample of 22 respondents. The independent variable in the study was dhikr therapy and the dependent variable in the study was preoperative patient anxiety. Data was taken using a questionnaire on May 1 – June 31, 2021.The results showed that the level of anxiety of respondents before being given dhikr therapy mostly experienced severe anxiety to panic, after being given dhikr therapy there was a significant decrease in anxiety levels, namely most of the respondents experienced moderate levels of anxiety.because with dhikr or remembering Allah will give us a feeling of security and peace, generate confidence and optimism in healing which will be useful for endurance and immunity, reduce tension and bring peace of mind.The results of the Wilcoxon test showed that = 0.000, meaning < (0.05) so that H0 was rejected, which means that there is an effect of dhikr therapy on anxiety in preoperative patients at Bangil Hospital, Pasuruan.One way that can be done to reduce anxiety in patients is dhikr therapy. The purpose of using dhikr therapy in nursing interventions is to divert or distance the client's attention to something that is being faced. | en_US |
