| dc.description.abstract | Breast care is a method of caring for the breasts that is carried out during pregnancy or the puerperium to increase milk production. In supporting the fulfillment of optimal baby milk production, it should be in accordance with what is expected, then the most decisive factor in breastfeeding, one of which is breast care since pregnancy and after childbirth. This study aims to determine the relationship between the implementation of breast care and breast milk production in post partum mothers in the Dawarblandong Health Center, Mojokerto Regency. The type of research used is analytic correlation with cross sectional approach. The population in this study were all post partum mothers on days 1-3 who breastfeed in the Dawarblandong Public Health Center, Mojokerto Regency on March 20-20 April 2021 as many as 54 people. Sampling used non-probability sampling with consecutive sampling type. The sample in this study were 32 respondents. The independent variable in this study is the implementation of breast care and the dependent variable is the production of breast milk. Data was taken using a questionnaire. Data processing was carried out using SPSS Statistics 25.0 software and testing using the Chi-Square correlation test obtained p-value = 0.000 <0.05. The results showed that there was a significant relationship between the implementation of breast care and breast milk production in post partum mothers in the Dawarblandong Health Center area, Mojokerto Regency. There are several things that affect the release of breast milk, including the knowledge of mothers in doing breast care, the better breast care is done, it will help in the smooth production of breast milk in breastfeeding mothers. | en_US |
