    Abstract
    Injuries are common in school-age children, injuries are the most common cause of death in children, many children are hospitalized for serious disabilities, or die as a result of injuries caused by injuries such as falls. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of health education with audiovisual methods on mother's level of knowledge about first aid for fall injuries in school-age children. Pre-experimental research design with one group pre-test - post-test design. The sampling technique used in this research is the total sampling technique. Samples were taken as many as 32 respondents. The instrument in this study was a questionnaire. The results of this study indicate that before being given health education, 18 people (56.3%) had sufficient knowledge and 26 people (81.3%). Data analysis using the Wilcoxon Signed rank test statistical test showed the results of increasing knowledge as many as 26 respondents and permanent knowledge as many as 6 respondents with a value of = 0.000 (α = 0.05) which indicates that there is an effect of health education with audiovisual methods on the level of knowledge of mothers about help first injury at school age. The provision of material using the audiovisual method can increase knowledge because the delivery method and the media used are more interesting and clearer because they involve elements of images and sound so that they are easier to reach.
