dc.description.abstractFinger painting is a form of finger painting activity with the aim of developing fine motor skills, especially in children's art activities. Finger painting can hone fine motor skills through the skills of a child's fingers when applying color pulp to paper. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of playing finger painting on fine motor development in children aged 4-5 years at Dharma Wanita Lebaksono Kindergarten, Pungging District, Mojokerto. The design of this research is Pre-Experimental with a One-group Pre-test-Post-test design approach. The research variables were finger painting as an independent variable and fine motor development of preschoolers as the dependent variable. The research population is all students of Dharma Wanita Lebaksono Kindergarten, Pungging Mojokerto District, with 25 respondents. Samples were taken using the Total Sampling Technique as many as 25 children. The results of the study before being given the game most of the children had not developed and after being given the game most of them developed very well. Children who get a lot of stimulation or stimulation given to improve children's development, whether the stimulation is obtained from teaching teachers or from facilities provided by the school, one of which is finger painting games that can stimulate children's development well because it can train children's abilities and creativity.en_US
