    Abstract
    In this sophisticated era, children's social skills can also be influenced by the presence of gadgets. The purpose of this study was to prove the relationship between the duration of gadget use and social development in preschool children at Yaa Bunayya Pacing Kindergarten, Bangsal District, Mojokerto Regency. The research design is correlation analytic, with a cross sectional approach. The population in this study were all parents who had preschool-aged children in Kindergarten Yaa Bunayya Pacing, Bangsal District, Mojokerto Regency. A total of 70 population. The research sample was taken using Non Probability Sampling Type Purposive Sampling and who met the inclusion and exclusion requirements were 52 respondents. The research instrument used the google form. The results showed that the duration of gadget use in preschool age children mostly used gadgets 1 hour a day as many as 38 respondents (73.1%) and social development in preschool age children as many as 23 respondents (44.2%) had high social development. The results of the Spearman Rho correlation test using SPSS, the results show the value of value (0.000) < (0.05), so that HO is rejected and H1 is accepted, which means that there is a relationship between the duration of gadget use and the level of social development in preschool age children in Yaa Bunayya Kindergarten. Pacing, Bangsal District, Mojokerto Regency. The lower the duration of using gadgets, the higher the level of social development. Because at preschool age children are expected to be able to socialize with new environments
