dc.description.abstractNurses are at risk of being contaminated with disease if during interactions with patients they do not pay attention to universal precautions by using Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as gloves, masks, glasses, gowns. The purpose of this literature review is to find out whether there is a relationship between the supervision of the head of the room and the compliance of nurses in using PPE. The method of this research uses a literature review system. Search through electronic media databases Google Scholar. The search keywords used were supervision, PPE, and nurse compliance. Data analysis was carried out according to the prism. The population was all nurses working in inpatient rooms and the samples used were some or all nurses working in inpatient rooms. The articles used in this study were 6 articles which showed that there was a relationship between the supervision of the head of the room and compliance in using PPE. The conclusion of this study is that there is a relationship between the supervision of the head of the room and the compliance of nurses in using personal protective equipment (PPE). The more often the head of the rrom supervises, the level of nurse compliance also increases.en_US
