    Abstract
    Stimulation by playing playdough will help children's development. Children who get stimulation will develop faster than children who do not or even get stimulation. This study aims to determine whether there is an effect of increasing the development of children aged 4-6 years after being given playdough games. The design of this study used a pre-experimental method with a one-group pre-post test design approach. The population is all children aged 4-6 years in Dharma Wanita Kindergarten, Gayaman Village, Mojoanyar District, Mojokerto Regency with a total of 44 children. The sampling technique used is Total Sampling with a sample of 44 children aged 4-6 years at Dharma Wanita Kindergarten, Gayaman Village, Mojoanyar District, Mojokerto Regency. The research instrument used the DDST II observation sheet, analyzed using a pre-test and post-test comparison table. The results of the Wilcoxon signed rank test showed that the p value = 0.000 and = 0.05, this means p < α that there is an effect of playing playdough on the development of children aged 4-6 years at Dharma Wanita Kindergarten, Gayaman Village, Mojoanyar District, Mojokerto Regency. The increase in children's developmental abilities after playing playdough is due to a fairly high interest in the media used in learning. Through playdough play activities, children are given the opportunity to move their hands, and can develop children's imaginations and provide benefits for learning and improve child development.
