    Abstract
    Parental support can increase student learning motivation because parents are the closest people, positive parents can trigger fun in learning, therefore parental support is very important for students during the student learning process. The purpose of this study is to prove the relationship between parental support and student learning motivation in online learning during the covid-19 pandemic. The design of this study using correlational analysis is intended to determine whether there is a relationship between two or several variables. The population in this study were all students of the Healthy Development Stikes PPNI Mojokerto Regency 1st level nursing undergraduate study program as many as 187 students, sampling technique using nonprobability purposive sampling. The number of samples in this study obtained 183 respondents who met the inclusion criteria. Based on the results of the analysis of the spearman rho test it was found that there was a relationship between parental support and student learning motivation in online learning during the covid-19 pandemic with a ρ value (0,000) < α (0, 05), the correlation coeficient value is 0, 520. With a very strong relationship which is indicated by the meaning that the better the parental support relationship the lower the student’s motivation to learn in online learning during the covid-19 pandemic. So that parental support is also important to motivate students to be able to distinguish between positif and negatif things.
