    Abstract
    The intensity of internet use is the action or circumstance of a teenager enjoying internet service in a certain measure of time and how often he or she focuses his attention on so that he cannot behave socially with others. The purpose of the study was to explain the relationship between the intensity of internet users and the social interaction of adolescents in Simbaringin Village, Kutorejo Subdistrict, Mojokerto Regency. Research design uses correlation analytic design. The population is all teenagers aged between 17-19 years in Simbaringin Village, Kutorejo Subdistrict, Mojokerto Regency which amounted to 130 teenagers until a sample of 80 respondents were taken with purposive sampling. The independent variable in the study was adolescent social interaction and the dependent variable in the study was the intensity of internet use. The data was retrieved using a questionnaire with google from. After collecting data processing and continued with spearman's rho test with the help of SPSS version 20.00. The results showed p (0.000 less than α (0.05) with a correlation coefficient of 0.883 and a negative relationship direction which means there is a strong relationship between the intensity of internet use during the COVID-19 pandemic with the social interaction of adolescents in Simbaringin Village of Kutorejo district of Mojokerto Regency. This suggests that the high intensity of internet use leads to reduced adolescent social interaction. The higher the intensity of internet use during the COVID-19 pandemic, the lower the social interaction of adolescents and the lower the intensity of internet use during the COVID-19 pandemic, the higher social interaction in adolescents. Teenagers are expected to use the internet wisely and appropriately as needed.
