HUBUNGAN GAYA KEPEMIMPINAN KEPALA PUSKESMAS DENGAN KINERJA KARYAWAN DI UPT PUSKESMAS KREMBUNG KABUPATEN SIDOARJO
Abstract
The development of an agency is a duty for a leader to make it happen. In this case the leader requires qualified subordinates or employees to realize the vision. Leaders must be able to influence their employees to be responsible for completing their work. The purpose of this study was to identify the relationship of leadership style with employee performance at UPT Krembung Puskesmas Sidoarjo. The design in this study was cross sectional. The population of this study is all employees of the Krembung Sidoarjo Health Center as many as 90 employees, the sampling technique is total sampling. The sample in this study were employees of the Krembung Sidoarjo Health Center totaling 90 employees. The results of the crosstabs test using SPSS 25.0 showed that the application of leadership style in UPT Krembung Health Center was more dominant using the strategy leadership style. From the results it can be seen that respondents with categorized performance stated that the leadership style in the medium category was more than the leadership style in the high category that is 16 (16 57%) respondents. Whereas respondents with good categorized performance stated that the leadership style in the high category was far more than the leadership style in the medium category that is 47 (75%) respondents. So it can be concluded that the better the leadership applied by the head of the puskesmas, the better the quality and quantity of employee performance at the UPT Puskesmas Krembung. In advancing agencies requires cooperation between leaders and employees. Leaders must be able to understand the character of employees and the conditions faced in order to create an effective leadership style. The application of an effective leadership style can improve the quality and quantity of employee performance.
