Body shaming was an important phenomenon to consider because it was one form of body shaming, this was as a criticism of one's appearance and the destructive form of social media body shaming was more experienced by young women. The purpose of this study was to determine the level of stress and depression in adolescent girls who experienced body shaming. The design of this study was descriptive. The population of this study were all 37 adolescent girls who experienced body shaming at SMK Taman Siswa Mojokerto. The sampling technique used purposive sampling, with a sample of 35 people. This research was conducted on 4-6 July 2020. The instrument used the DASS questionnaire for the stress and depression scale. The results of this study indicate that 80% of young women who experience body shaming do not experience stress, and 74.3% of young women who experience body shaming do not experience depression in SMK Taman Siswa Mojokerto. This suggested that almost all young women who experience body shaming did not experience stress, and most did not experience depression. This was because body shaming was often used as a joke so it was not considered embarrassing, but was considered as something natural and understandable if done by a friend himself.en_US
