    Abstract
Introduction:Response time is the speed in handling patients, calculated from the time the patient comes to the Emergency Room (IGD) until treatment is carried out by the medical team. The various types of diseases and conditions of the patients who came, as well as the visits of patients who came simultaneously in the ER, this density resulted in many types of service requests that exceeded the service capacity in the ER to provide quality nursing in the right time frame, so the service had to be fast. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between response time of health workers and patient satisfaction in the yellow triage of emergency room Anwar Medika Krian.Methods. This research method used a correlational research design with a cross sectional approach. The sample in this study were 153 respondents, using random sampling technique. The independent variable in this study is the response time of health workers (doctors and nurses). The dependent variable is patient satisfaction. The data collected is the emergency room health worker observation sheet and questionnaires that have been tested for validity and reliability, statistical analysis using the Spearman rho test.Result. Based on the results of the analysis using the Spearman rho statistical test, it was found that ρ = 0.000 (α <0.05) and the strength of the correlation was 0.970, then H0 was rejected, Hˡ was accepted, which meant that there was a relationship between the response time of health workers and patient satisfaction in the yellow triage of IGD Anwar Medika Krian. Discussions. It is hoped that service institutions will increase the speed and accuracy of handling non-emergency patients by increasing the number of health workers, managing service patterns that are in accordance with their function and efficiency and effectiveness, as well as improving hospital facilities and infrastructure, especially in the Emergency Room.
