ASUHAN KEPERAWATAN PADA KLIEN YANG MENGALAMI HARGA DIRI RENDAH PADA KASUS HIV DI PUSKESMAS MOJOSARI
Abstract
The condition of illness suffered by HIV patients will affect their perception of themselves so that they tend to have low self-esteem and are hospitalized causing patients to feel lost and less valued from others, especially families. The purpose of this study was to carry out nursing care for HIV patients with low self-esteem problems in the Mojosari Health Center area. The design of this research is a case study. Limitation of the term in this study, namely in HIV patients with self-problems, participants are research subjects that will be studied, participants in this study consist of 2 HIV problems with low self-esteem in the Mojosari Health Center area. According to researchers, the implementation has been adjusted to the problem of low self-esteem experienced by patients, including researchers building a trusting relationship with patients, fostering therapeutic relationships with patients, identifying positive abilities possessed by patients. The results of the evaluation given for 3 meetings in 2 weeks there was an increase in self-esteem in both patients obtained with the results that both patients wanted to answer greetings, patients wanted to shake hands, patients wanted to sit side by side with nurses, patients were able to choose and practice their positive abilities, patients want to express about the pain in his suffering, patients want to follow positive activities around their environment Good collaboration between patients and health workers help run optimal nursing care.
