dc.description.abstract | The companion food of breast milk is food to baby less than six months
age. Babies who get MP-ASI before the age of six months very influential of
diarrhea, but the reality still many mothers gave early companion food of breast
milk to baby under six months. The purpose on this research to know the early
provision of MP-ASI with the incidence of diarrhea in infants aged 0-6 month in
Ngoro village, in the work area of Ngoro public health, Mojokerto city. The
research design used analytic correlation with cross sectional approach. The
Population in this study were all mother having baby age 0-6 months in Ngoro
village, in the work area of Ngoro public health, Mojokerto city which amounts to
52 babies. The sampling technique used total sampling so obatained sample which
amounts to 52 respondents.This research was conducted on 14 Mey to 10 June. The
instrument used is questionnaire. Data analysis method was using coding, scoring,
tabulating, crosstabulation. The result in this study were it was showing that a
correlation og giving complementary feeds (MP-ASI) to baby 0-6 months with
incidence diarrhea in Ngoro village, in the work area of Ngoro public health,
Mojokerto city. Feeding companion early breastfeeding can cause interference
with absorption in the intestine due to the baby’s digestive system is less than six
months old and malabsorption that occurs will cause osmotic pressure in intensial
cavity increases and which result diarrhea. | en_US |
