dc.description.abstract | Self-esteem is a self-assessment that a person has against him based on his
relationship with others. In the formation of this self-esteem can be influenced by
several factors one of which is the success of a person during the toddler period as
well as success in learning the toilet training. The purpose of this research is to
know the relationship of successful toilet training with self-esteem in children. The
design of this research is Cross sectional. The population in this study is all mothers
who have children in kindergarten Dharma women Talok Dlanggu Mojokerto
numbering 53 respondents. The sampling technique for this research is total
sampling. The samples in this research are all mothers who have children in Tk
Dharma women Talok Dlanggu Mojokerto amounting to 53 respondents, analysis
data using crosstab. The results of this study show that almost half of the children
who succeed in the training toilet have a high self-esteem of 22 children (41.5%).
One's self-esteem is influenced by the success of toilet training, the more successful
children are in toilet training then the more likely the child has high self-esteem. As
for the child who succeeds in toilet training but still has low self-esteem. due to the
low value of the self-esteem questionnaire number 2,3,5. Children who did not
succeed in toilet training but had high self-esteem due to the value on the Toilet
Training questionnaire were low on average at 2,4,6 but in the questionnaire the
child's self-esteem had a high score. | en_US |
