| dc.description.abstract | Diabetes mellitus is a chronic disease accompanied by high blood sugar
levels that can cause complications and death. Pravelensi sufferers of diabetes
mellitus in Indonesia is increasing based on increasing age, but starting at age> 60
years pravelensi diabetes mellitus tends to decrease. Diabetes Mellitus pravelensi
based on diagnosis and the highest symptoms in the group 30-59 years. The role of
the family to have knowledge is very important as a reminder and counselor for
sufferers and therefore very much needed family support. The purpose of this study
is to prove the relationship between family support and the application of the 3J diet
(Schedule, Types, Amounts) in the Kedundung Community Health Center. The
research design uses cross sectional. The population All DM sufferers who live in
one house with family in Kedundung Mojokerto Village are 96 respondents.
sampling technique using simple random sampling. The sample in this study was
the majority of DM sufferers who lived in a house with a family in the village of
Kedundung Mojokerto totaling 77 respondents. The research instrument uses a
questionnaire and part of the Google form. The method of data analysis uses the
Spearman Rank Correlation. The results of the test using SPSS, the correlation
statistical test in this study found that the coefficient value of the household was r
= 0.433, which means that the correlation between the two variables in the medium
category and also obtained p = 0.01 <α (0.05) which means that there is a
relationship of family support with the application of the 3J diet (Schedule, type,
amount) in patients with diabetes mellitus in the area of Kedundung Health Center,
Magersari District, Mojokert City. The more positive the family support will
increase the application of the 3J diet (schedule, type, amount). | en_US |
