HUBUNGAN PENGETAHUAN PERAWAT DENGAN PELAKSANAAN TRIAGE DI IGD
Abstract
One of the services performed by nurses in the Emergency Department is
triage. Triage serves to divide patients into several groups based on the severity of
injuries experienced. Therefore nurses in the emergency unit are required to
perform triage actions appropriately in a short time. One factor that influences the
accuracy of triage actions of a nurse is the level of knowledge. The research
design uses Literature Review, focusing on three databases including Google
Schoolar and pubmed with the keywords used are "nurse knowledge" and
"implementation of triage". From the Literature Review 10 research journals that
have been analyzed produce that the triage knowledge of nurses in the emergency
room is very important but besides that it must pay attention to length of work,
ownership of certification, employment status, knowledge supported by work
experience in the emergency room, accompanied by formal and non formal
education such as then the training must also pay attention to attitude, skills,
insight, motivation and commitment in conducting triage, pay attention to the
response time or response time in triage assessment and comply with the existing
regulations in the IGD. Most of the research from several journal reviews above
found that most have good knowledge and in the implementation of triage is also
good. Then it can be explained that the relationship between nurses' knowledge
and the implementation of triage, the more nurse knowledge, the better the
implementation of triage.
