    Abstract
    The final project in the form of a thesis is a requirement in completing the educational process for students. The demands in completing this thesis can be a stressor for students so that it can cause stress and one of the factors that influence stress reactions is personality type. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between personality type and stress in students working on a thesis at Stikes Bina Sehat PPNI Mojokerto. The design of this study is a correlation with a cross sectional approach. The population is all students who are working on thesis batches of 2018 at STIKES Bina Sehat PPNI Mojokerto as many as 164 regular program students for the 2021/2022 academic year. Samples were taken by simple random sampling method a number of 42 respondents. The independent variable is personality type and the dependent variable is stress. Data was taken using a questionnaire. Data analysis was performed by statistical test of Chi square with the help of SPSS. The results showed p (0.001) < (0.005), so that H0 was rejected, meaning that there was a relationship between personality type and stress in students who were working on thesis at Stikes Bina Sehat PPNI Mojokerto.Individuals with introverted personality types tend to experience stress and conversely individuals with extroverted personality types tend not to experience stress. By knowing each personality type, individuals can choose a positive response to stress and are problem solving so that when experiencing stress it does not continue to a more severe stage.
