HUBUNGAN FAKTOR USIA DENGAN TINGKAT KECEMASAN PADA PASIEN COVID 19 DI RUANG ISOLASI TERATAI RSUD BANGIL
Abstract
One of the factors thar affect the anxiety of covid 19 patiens is age.The high mortality rate and the management of patients with confirmed COVID-19 have a significant impact on anxiety. The purpose of this study is the relationship between age and anxiety levels of Covid 19 patients. The method in this research is correlation analysis. The design used is cross-sectional with an accidental sampling technique. The variable studied was the relationship between the age factor and the anxiety level of Covid 19 patients. The results showed that based on the age of almost half of the respondents aged 46-50 years, there were 24 respondents (40.0%). Based on the patient's level of anxiety, more than half of the patients experienced severe anxiety as many as 50 respondents (83.3%). The results of statistical tests with the Spearman Rank correlation on age and anxiety levels showed that the data obtained were P-value > alpha = 0.067 > 0.05. The conclusion is that H0 is accepted, which means that there is no relationship between age and the anxiety level of COVID-19 patients in the lotus isolation room at Bangil Pasuruan Hospital, with a 95% confidence level there is no relationship between age and anxiety levels,it is necessary to consider other variables related to the patient’s anxiety level,such as education on the patient’sbiological condition,cough,hyperthermia,shortness of breath oxygen saturation and physical discomfort,lack of physical activity,health I low social status.
