Abstract
The quality of the hospital as an institution that produces health services, of course, depends on the quality of medical services and nursing services provided to patients. However, nursing services in hospitals are still a problem which includes public dissatisfaction with the quality of inpatient nursing services which are considered unsatisfactory. The research design was correlation analysis with a Cross Sectional Study approach. The population is 74 inpatients who are undergoing treatment at Bangil Hospital and using a sample of 50 people with consecutive sampling technique. The independent variable in this study is nursing services and the dependent variable is patient satisfaction. Based on the results of the study, on the nursing service variable, it was found that most of the respondents received good nursing services, namely 35 people (70%). In the patient satisfaction variable, it was found that most of the respondents had a high level of patient satisfaction, namely 40 people (80). Meanwhile, based on the results of the Spearmen Rho test, it showed a Correlation Coefficient value of 0.620 with a Sig (2-tailed) value of 0.000. So it can be concluded that there is a relationship between nursing services and satisfaction of inpatients at Bangil Hospital. The comparison between patient perceptions and patient expectations will lead to feelings of pleasure or satisfaction and disappointment or dissatisfaction. Nurses who provide good service to patients will make patients feel satisfied and will speed up the healing process.
