    Abstract
    Therapeutic communication is still a sensitive issue among the public. This is caused because many people underestimate a communication as something that is still considered trivial, but in fact therapeutic communication is very important to use to support service satisfaction. This study aims to determine the relationship between therapeutic communication and patient satisfaction with nursing services. Coralational Analytical research design with Cross Sectional approach. The population of this study were all patients who would return from the inpatient room of RSI Masyithoh, Bangil District, Pasuruan Regency within a period of 2 weeks with a total of 25 respondents. The sampling technique in this study is the Non Probability Sampling technique using accidental sampling. With a sample of 25 people. The research instrument used a questionnaire. Data analysis using crosstab. The results of the therapeutic communication research were quite good 11 people (44%), not good 2 people (8%). The level of satisfaction of patients who stated that 13 people (52%) were not satisfied were not satisfied. With the results of the Spearman Rho correlation statistical test, the results obtained = 0.000 with = <0.05. There is a relationship between therapeutic communication and the level of patient satisfaction at Masyithoh Hospital, Bangil District, Pasuruan Regency. It can be concluded that the better the therapeutic communication provided by the nurse to the patient, the higher the satisfaction value given by the patient, therefore improving the quality of nurse human resources is needed.
