PENGARUH PENDIDIKAN KESAHATAN MENGGUNAKAN AUDIOVISUAL TERHADAP UPAYA PENATALAKSANAAN HIPERTENSI DI DUSUN SIMOWAU DESA KETAPANGKUNING KECAMATAN NGUSIKAN
Abstract
Hypertension is still a problem at this time, usually the increase in hypertension lasts for a long time. One of the efforts that can be done is the provision of appropriate media health education such as using audiovisuals. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of health education using audiovisual on hypertension management efforts in Simowau Hamlet, Ketapangkuning Village, Ngusikan District, Jombang Regency. he researches design used is analytical with a pre-experimental approach, one group pre-test and post-test design. The variable of this research, namely Health Education with audiovisual is the independent variable and the management of hypertension is the dependent variable. The population in this study were all patients with hypertension as many as 113 people. Samples were taken using purposive sampling technique so that the samples obtained were all patients with hypertension in Simowau hamlet, Ketapangkuning village who met the inclusion criteria totaling 109 respondents. The research instrument is a questionnaire. Based on the results of the Wilcoxon signed rank test analysis, it was found that the p value = 0.000 and = 0.05, this means that p < which means this study shows that there is an effect of health education using audiovisual in an effort to treat hypertension. Health education using audiovisual can improve hypertension treatment efforts because respondents have been given health education through audiovisual media in an interesting and more effective assessment because it involves two things, namely the senses of sight and hearing which can maximize the reception of information.
