    Abstract
The smooth production of breast milk in breastfeeding mothers can be influenced by various factors, one of which is a factor in the disruption of the adequacy of the quality of sleep of nursing mothers. Breastfeeding mothers experience many changes in activity patterns, so that it often affects the adequacy of their sleep quality. This study aims to determine the relationship between adequate sleep quality for breastfeeding mothers and breast milk production in breastfeeding mothers in Sawahan Hamlet, Pugeran Village, Gondang District, Mojokerto Regency. The research design used a correlation study with a cross sectional approach. The data collection method used a total sampling technique with 35 respondents from breastfeeding mothers. Data was collected by filling out an e-questionnaire using Google Forms facility. The results showed that almost half of the respondents who were breastfeeding mothers experienced moderate sleep disturbances with smooth milk production, namely 14 (40%) and 3 breastfeeding mothers (8.57%) with non-fluent milk production. So, the results of the cross tabulation show that there is no relationship between sleep quality disorders and the smooth production of breast milk. In this study, it can be seen that the disruption of adequate sleep quality is not the only factor that affects breast milk production. Smooth milk production can also be influenced by factors in breastfeeding mothers such as age, occupation, use of contraception, breast care, and anatomical abnormalities of the breast. In addition, the baby's suction factor can also affect the smooth production of breast milk in breastfeeding mothers.
