Diagnosa Keperawatan Pada Pasien Pra Operasi, Intra Operasi, dan Pasca Operasi Katarak di Kamar Operasi RSUD Bangil Pasuruan
Abstract
Nursing diagnosis is a vital part in determining appropriate nursing care to help clients achieve
optimal health, although surgery is a medical action, nurses have a very important and active role in
providing nursing care to patients before, during, and after surgery. The purpose of this study was to
determine nursing diagnoses in preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative cataract patients in the
operating room of Bangil Hospital. The research design is qualitative descriptive with a case study
approach, the population of all patients undergoing surgery in the operating room with a sample of 30
participants, data is taken by interview and observation. The results of the preoperative nursing diagnosis
study were that all participants experienced sensory perception and anxiety disorders 30 (100%), impaired
physical mobility, activity intolerance, and risk of falling 3 (10%), knowledge deficit 2 (6.7%), impaired
body image 1 (3.3%). Intraoperative nursing diagnoses all participants experienced impaired tissue integrity
30 (100%), acute pain 7 (23.3%), hypothermia 4 (13%), risk of hypothermia 3 (10%). While postoperative
nursing diagnoses all participants experienced sensory perception disorders 30 (100%), acute pain 7
(23.3%), infection risk 5 (16.7%), impaired physical mobility, activity intolerance, and risk of falling
respectively. 3 (10%), knowledge deficit 2 (6.7%). In this study, the actual nursing diagnoses, risks, and
health promotion occurred in preoperative, intraoperative, and post cataract surgery with different
percentages, the existence of nursing documentation standards as a guide for nurses can improve
communication with fellow nurses or with other health professionals. So that the performance of nurses
and the quality of service increases.
