dc.description.abstract | Background : Disaster preparedness is a series of activities carried out to anticipate disasters
through organization and through appropriate and efficient steps. However, many of us are
still not ready what to do if a disaster occurs. This study aims to determine the preparedness
of health workers at Batugoyang Health Center in dealing with disasters. Methods: This
research uses quantitative research withdesign descriptive analysis. The population in this
study were 22 people, a sample of 22 people with sampling using non-probability sampling
with total sampling technique. Data analysis usedtest descriptive analysis with the help of
SPSS 28. Results : ResultsThe results showed that the average value (Mean) was 4.00 while
thevalue (medianmedian) for the level of preparedness was 4.00 and the value that often
appeared (mode) was 4 . Conclusion: The results of this study concluded that health workers
in health centers preparedness Batugoyang ill-prepared for disasters. This can be used as a
basis for consideration of increasing disaster management competence for health workers at
the Puskesmas, because if preparedness is declared ready, disaster events can be handled
properly.
