dc.description.abstractThe leadership style applied by the head of the room can be an assessment by nurses and can even affect the performance of a nurse. Leadership is a process to influence and direct others so that they have the motivation to achieve the goals to be achieved in certain situations, so that the role of leadership in an organization is very important and very decisive in achieving the goals set previously. This study aims to determine the leadership style of the head of the room with the work motivation of nurses in the Anwar Medika General Hospital treatment room. The research design used was correlation analytic with cross sectional sampling with total sampling, using the Spearman Rho statistical test which was carried out on the 12th. -17 July 2021 with 60 respondents. The research instrument was a demographic data questionnaire, a transformational leadership style questionnaire and a David McClelland work motivation questionnaire. The results showed that the majority of the leadership style used by the head of the room was using a democratic leadership style with a percentage of 60% (36 people).en_US
