dc.description.abstract | Logistics management is a cycle of activities starting from planning to evaluation that
are interrelated with one another. Its activities include planning, procurement, receipt,
storage, distribution, control, recording and reporting, deletion, monitoring and evaluation.
This study aims to analyze drug management in the work area of the puskesmas. This study
uses astudy literature review which is a series of activities related to the methods of
collecting library data, reading, and taking notes and processing research materials. Literature
search was conducted through Google Scholar, Pubmad, Google scholar with the keywords
Management of drug management used 10 journals in this study. Based on the results of the
analysis and theory, it shows that the management of drug management in the work area of
the puskesmas is not appropriate, judging from the problems found in the aspects of drug
management management planning, namely the lack of human resources (Pharmacist) and
there is no standard operating procedure for drug management management. From the results
of the analysis of 10 journals, three problems were found that were not in line with standard
operating procedures for drug management, namely 1) Availability, price and affordability, 2)
Procedures for disposing of expired and unused drugs, 3) Management of drug management
in the planning aspect. medicines in health facilities that are not accessible to the general
public. The success or failure of logistics management is determined by the aspects of the
planning made.
